Faces of the Homeless, First in a series

7 years ago, my husband and I founded a homeless transitional housing program on Cape Cod called Homeless not Hopeless, Inc.  While we are no longer an official part of the organization, it is still a cause that sits strong in our hearts.  To that end, I'll be creating a series of images depicting the homeless and giving some facts about each one.  All proceeds from this series will be donated to Homeless not Hopeless, Inc.  

Homeless fact #1-Domestic Violence is the THIRD leading cause of homelessness.  The interrelated nature of domestic violence and homelessness is undeniable: 92% of homeless women have experiences severe physical or sexual abuse at some point in their lives, and 63% have been victims of intimate partner violence as adults.
